Warm Spiced Carob Almond Milk

Ingredients
2 cups
unsweetened almond milk beverage
2 tablespoons
carob powder
2 tablespoons
maple syrup
(or your liquid sweetener of choice)
½ tablespoon
vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon
ground cinnamon
(optional)
Dash
ground ginger
or
cloves
(optional)
Pinch salt
Directions
Place all of the ingredients in your blender, and blend for about 30 seconds.
Pour the carob milk into a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat until hot, but not boiling.
For a
richer
, sweeter drink, you can simmer the carob milk for a few minutes.
Divide the warm carob milk between two mugs and serve.
